FD12XX OLT Upgrade instructions for firmware version 1.5.2


The command to upgrade olt is 
OLT(config)# load packetfile tftp 192.168.1.1 image.img






older firmwares :

FD1216S version that older than V1.2.1 use profile architecture. In new version FD1216S use discrete mode. So it must upgrade in BOOT mode.

Please follow the step as below to upgrade 16 port OLT to V1.2.1:



topo   ip:192.168.x.x                 mgmt: 192.168.y.y

  PC(tftp-server)---------------------------------OLT



Start to upgrade. The entire upgrade process in the BOOT mode

Reboot the device to keep the keyboard <CTRL + C>, enter the BOOT mode

1¡¢Config OLT ip address

        ifconfig -addr=192.168.y.y



2¡¢Upgrade new boot file  £¨Don't press CTRL+C during upgrading the uboot .img£©

	program tftp://192.168.x.x/FD1216S_uboot_V1.0.2_170605_0908.img

3¡¢Reboot the OLT

	reset



4¡¢Keep pressing <CTRL+C> and enter the BOOT mode again.



5¡¢Upgrade Kernel file

	program tftp://192.168.x.x/FD1216S_Kernel_X000_171025_1053.img



6¡¢Upgrade Firmware file

	program tftp://192.168.x.x/FD1216S_FW_V1.3.0_X000_171025_1103.img





7¡¢Set OLT to default

	default



8¡¢Reboot the OLT

	reset



9¡¢Here the whole version upgrade successful.
